Just a little update....

Hello Bloggers, here is a little update on what has been going on here at CCS of late.....

As I said in the post before, life has been a tad chaotic for us here at CCS due to my son Layn, so I haven't been in the store for a while if you all are wondering where I have been the last few weeks. My sister, Dayna, came up to visit with us for 2 weeks and so we have been keeping pretty busy. During the last two weeks, even though I haven't been into the store, I have been keeping busy putting in new orders we have received!! As you all know, Chrissy one of our Rep's was up here just a couple months ago, and whenever she is up we always go bonkers with ordering new product! I would just like to show you a few of the great new things we have been getting!

New Goods

Hello Bloggers, our scrappin with the pro's was a huge success! Chrissy came and taught an awesome project. We all had a really great day and wished that she could have stayed longer, and of course we missed our other rep Stacy. Thanks for your continued support.

Well now that school is back in full swing and summer is coming to a close, we are going to be starting back up our classes. For those of you who love to come to our classes feel free to submit a few ideas for pages or projects that you would like to see happen this year. From maybe some sports pages for you Scrappers that have children that play sports to some mini holiday themed books for gifts to your loved ones, or even themes for cards for the holidays as well. We want to bring to you new ideas on the layouts that you all need some new inspiration for!

For a little more personal note, as you know my mother toni owns CCS. This summer has been a busy one and I have been out a bunch due to the chaotic schedule. Well my family just got the worst news possible. My youngest son, Layn, was diagnosed with ALD or Adrenoleukodystrophy. As a few of you know, I usually did the classes, so i just wanted to let everyone know that if classes don't come together right away, it isn't because I forgot you guys or don't miss seeing your smiling faces at classes. This is the hardest trial for a mother, and my Husband and I and our other kids are trying to spend as much time as we can with Layn. ALD is a very rare form of Leukodystrophy and in most cases is Terminal. So just remember scrappers, we haven't forgotten you, life just keeps throwing us curve balls.

When Chrissy was here we put out some orders for some great new product lines. They are slowly trickling in and you can see these at our revamped ONLINE Scrapstore!

If you have any questions, comments, concerns or suggestions, remember we are here for YOU! So please feel free to email us and let us know, or you can stop into the store or call as well!

What's been going on at CCS & What's to come!

Hello everyone! Just thought I would drop in here and let a few of you who have been busy this summer know about some things coming up at Country Cottage!

For our Website Shoppers, we are in the process of getting the new website up and running, that is why the old one is down right now. Unfortunately we had a bit of a glitch in the programming and our information was wiped away! So we had to reboot and build it and hope to have it up and running very soon.

We have been getting some great new products in including one of our favorite companies Prima! They have some great new flowers and embellishments out and they will be shipping to us mid August so keep your eyes peeled for them! Basic Grey has also come out with some great new lines as well as some of our other favorite Companies! So keep your eyes peeled for them coming in! Alcohol Ink Pens for those of you who were so patiently (or like us Impatiently) waiting are now in stock and going fast, so make sure you stop in and grab yours today!

Classes are going to be up and running, we had one planned for last week and since the summer months are so busy for all our usual class goers, we decided to hang on for you guys just a little longer. Keep your eyes peeled though, classes will be posting soon and we hope to see all you scrappers there with us diving in on some of our great new products and techniques from your favorite companies.

We are also planning on Chrissy, one of our reps, to be coming into the area in late August! So keep your fingers crossed she can make it up this way, if she does we will be doing another Anniversary type event with her teaching a class and showing of some product. More to come on that once we find out for sure we can nab her!

Cricut Classes - If you guys are interested in doing some more Cricut classes remember to let us know! We had a great turnout at the last one, and rumor is you all would like to do some more, so just let us know and we will get it set up for you!

If there is anything you guys want to see more of as far as classes, product, and suggestions on how we can help you fulfill your scrapping needs and addictions, please feel free to let us know!

Crops also will be starting up here soon hopefully! I know I am ready to get together with some of you wonderful gals and share tips, tricks and techniques we all have picked up over the summer!

More than anything again thanks for your continued support of Country Cottage. We always look forward to seeing our valued customers coming in and spending some time with us and walking out the door with the product they love.

Thanks!
